About

Miguel was born in Canada but raised in inner city Chicago. He grew up poor and due to many family hardships, landed in foster care for about 7 1/2 years. He was the first in his family to graduate from HS, first to graduate college. Miguel met his wife Robin while in college and has been happily married since May 15th, 2010.

Against many odds, Miguel overcame not having either parent (significant portion of his childhood), living in over twenty foster homes and being labelled learning disabled to mention a few. A few of his superpowers are resiliency, adaptability, blue collar ethic and grit.

Miguel’s coaching identity is tied to the following core actions.
